this words are beautiful.
I am in my bed in London and I am thinking about what you said of the place - what will they be in 50 years?
I just realized how I never thought of such a thing in my home country, Italy, where the culture of being 'italian' is granted, since centuries....
but then again, I feel like being on those streets in Israel, and smile at the guard, and not because I am Jew, or not because I am Israeli or Palestinian, but because I am a human being. In your words I found HOME and in the heart of people, in the soul of the planet, in the truth of light (which is represented in any little good action, good thought, value, yes those values that are disgregarded so much nowadays..) lies the holy land, the sacred Jerusalem. Light, divinity, is not done of bricks, or land - the illumination that humans might aspire in reaching the holy Jerusalem is a spiritual castel.
